Deep Biswas is a London-based tutor, admissions coach and career adviser with more than a decade of experience supporting students and professionals.
Deep Biswas is the founder and Principal Tutor & Coach at My Career Impact. He has more than a decade of experience helping students and professionals prepare for examinations, selective universities and competitive careers.
He holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he received Academic Honors in both years, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick.
Following exceptional academic performance at Harvard, Deep was invited by faculty to tutor first-year MBA students in Business, Government and the International Economy, Leadership and Inclusive Ethics.
Before establishing My Career Impact, he worked as a UK Government Development Economist and diplomat, advised the City of Boston as a Harvard Business School Leadership Fellow and delivered strategy and development consulting for governments, businesses and international organisations.
His teaching combines rigorous subject knowledge, clear exam technique, personalised materials and practical insight into how academic ideas operate in real institutions, markets and careers.
Founder story
Raised in London in a Bengali migrant family, Deep’s own path took him through selective schools, Warwick, Cambridge and Harvard Business School. That journey shaped his belief that strong outcomes depend not only on academic ability, but also on information, confidence, preparation and access to honest guidance.

Deep has seen and coached a wide range of consulting cases across sectors and international markets.
He creates original exercises and can tailor cases to the candidate’s target region, industry and firm focus, including themes such as sustainability, housing, economic development, real estate and travel.
During sessions, he regularly works through structures, calculations and recommendations live on his reMarkable 2. Where useful, notes are shared afterwards as PDFs, alongside detailed feedback and targeted resources for further practice.
His coaching has supported candidates pursuing roles across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Spanish-speaking markets. This includes a British student who subsequently secured an offer from L.E.K. Consulting in New York.
The approach combines interview preparation with active consulting experience in project scoping, Excel modelling, PowerPoint storytelling and the production of client-ready recommendations.

A social-sciences interview specialist
Deep specialises in interview preparation for PPE, Economics, Politics, Philosophy and related social-science subjects. He experienced the Oxford PPE interview process first-hand as an applicant. Although he did not ultimately receive an offer, the experience shaped his understanding of the difference between strong academic credentials and performing effectively in an unfamiliar, highly analytical interview.
